What is Special Smiles?
Special Smiles provides SOWA athletes comprehensive oral health care information, including free dental screenings and education on proper brushing and flossing techniques. This also includes issuing preventative supplies like toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouth guards, and fluoride varnish.
Clinical and general volunteers are needed to make the screening a success! Dentists, Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, and Dental Students are needed to provide the dental screenings and educate SOWA athletes on proper dental hygiene.
