Reminder: Dental Prescription Coverage Provider Alert
Please read the following message from the HCA:
There is no billing change for clients enrolled in the Apple Health fee-for-service program.
For questions related to dental prescriptions, email Apple Health Pharmacy Policy at AppleHealthPharmacyPolicy@hca.wa.gov.
HCA will update the Dental Billing Guide by January 1, 2020, to reflect this change.
Dental Prescription Coverage:
Effective on and after January 1, 2020, for clients enrolled in an agency-contracted managed care organization (MCO), dental prescriptions will no longer be paid through the fee-for-service program. Dental prescriptions for these clients must be billed directly to the client’s MCO.There is no billing change for clients enrolled in the Apple Health fee-for-service program.
