New opioid prescribing checklists are now available on the DQAC website.

The checklists provide specific rule requirements in an easy-to-follow format when dentists prescribe opioids. These checklists are not mandatory for dentists to use. DQAC is providing them as a resource to assist dentists in prescribing opioids.

Additional tooks on the DQAC website include:

  • Educational video regarding rules of the chapter. This video meets a portion of the three-hour continuing education requirement in WAC 246-817-909.
