It is that time of year again when dentists are reminded of the importance of reviewing your signed PPO agreements. You may also want to try to renegotiate contract terms and provisions as well, including network fee schedules. Dentists are forced to make important business decisions when it comes to signing or not signing and/or continuing current PPO contracts and there are many considerations a dentist must take into account during the contract evaluation process.

This presentation will provide important information on the most common clauses found in PPO contracts that all dentists should be aware of. It will also cover the potential financial implications these clauses can have on a typical dental practice. Examples of some of these clauses include hold harmless, network leasing, recoupment, most favored nation clauses and more. In addition, the most common processing policies imposed by payers will also be discussed.

Participants of this webinar will:

  • Gain a better understanding of payers’ contractual clauses and processing policies and the potential financial implications these policies may have on your dental practice.
  • Learn what questions to ask before signing a participating provider agreement.
  • Hear about a multitude of ADA online resources available to help dentists and their staff tackle difficult dental insurance contract questions and concerns.

ADA leadership continues to listen to your feedback on these issues and has taken action to assist dental offices with dental insurance concerns. This webinar is another of the many ways the ADA is working to support our members
