Arcora Foundation is hiring dental professionals (dentist or licensed hygienist) to perform Smile Survey oral health screenings on children in elementary schools in Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Island, Kitsap, Pierce, San Juan, Snohomish, and Spokane counties.
Arcora Foundation is looking to hire 8-10 dentists or licensed hygienists to work as Smile Survey oral health screeners in elementary schools across the state. Candidates must attend a mandatory in-person calibration training on Feb. 10 in Lakewood. Learn more about this opportunity below. 

2022-23 Washington State Smile Survey Screener Contractor

Arcora Foundation is hiring up to 8 dental professionals (licensed RDH or Dentist) to perform Smile Survey oral health screenings on children in second and third grade in elementary schools in the following counties: Clallam, Clark, Cowlitz, Island, Kitsap, Pierce, San Juan, Snohomish, and Spokane.

The oral health examiners will work in collaboration with the Smile Survey project team — including State and County-Level Coordinators — and will visit selected elementary schools to perform oral health screenings and submit data electronically. All materials and equipment will be provided.

All interested candidates: 
  • Must attend the mandatory in-person calibration training on Feb. 10, 2023. This all-day session will be a combination of classroom training in Lakewood, WA (event site TBD) and hands-on training with students at Dower Elementary. 
  • Sign a contract with Arcora Foundation.
  • Show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.  

Compensation will be $435 per school visit, including mileage. Additional information can be found in our Prospective Screeners FAQ document.
