Dental Licensure Fees Increasing June 1

Mar 22, 2023
The Department of Health has filed a CR-103 to increase dental licensure fees. The increase will become effective June 1, 2023.

In order to address the annual operating shortfall of the Dental Quality Assurance Commission, the Department of Health has filed a CR-103 to increase dental licensure fees. This means that the fee increase has been finalized and will become effective June 1, 2023.

This rule will increase the base dental license renewal fee from $350 to $365, bringing the total to $415 when the $50 surcharge for the Washington Physician Health Program is taken into consideration.

The last fee changes for the dental program occurred in 2014, decreasing licensing fees. More information surrounding the fee increase can be found on the WSDA Blog.
