Minimal Sedation CE Requirement

Licensed Washington dentists who administer minimal and/or moderate sedation must complete seven hours of CE every five years. Please note: Moderate sedation with parenteral agents permitholders are subject to more intensive requirements.

  • Meet the Requirement: Attend lectures by Thomas Viola, RPh, CCP, CDE, CPMP — offered on Friday, June 16 and Saturday, June 17 — to meet the minimal sedation CE requirement.

Basic Life Support (BLS) CE Requirement

Dental staff providing direct patient care in an in-office or outpatient setting must hold a current and valid healthcare provider basic life support (BLS) certification. Certification is good for two years.

  • Meet the Requirement: Attend a workshop by Art Cole — offered on Thursday, June 15 and Friday, June 16 — to meet the BLS CE requirement.
